A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL FRAMING
Treated LVLs are a great alternative to traditional treated framing due to consistency and strength, and also being treated completely during manufacturing rather than just pressure treated. We can use these for the entire deck frame and stair stringers or just the beams. Their use allows us to span further from the house and between support posts. This opens up views and patio space below. Using these LVL beams also lets us build a much stronger beam in one solid piece where traditionally we would have had seams on top of mid posts.
