Booking & Design
1. Design Consultation
Our process starts with an initial free phone consultation. During this brief call we will discuss your project ideas, materials you’d like to use, budget and timeline. After we’ve determined that we’re a good fit for your project needs, we will set an on-site appointment.
2. On-site appointment
This on-site appointment should take about an hour to allow us ample time to discuss details and preview your space. We will inspect any existing structures, show product samples, discuss sizing, layouts, etc. We may also bring any subcontractors (electrical, HVAC, patio and retaining walls, etc) necessary to gather the information we need to put together your proposal.
3. The proposal
After we’ve gathered all the details we need, we’ll put together a detailed proposal and present this in person in order to answer any initial questions you may have. Our proposals generally take 5-10 business days to put together.

4. proposal completion
Once the proposal has been reviewed by both parties, we’ll make any requested adjustments to finalize the proposal. When you’re ready, you can sign the proposal electronically and complete the 30% down payment to secure a spot on our schedule.
5. ordering & selections
Colors need to be finalized prior to our project start date, so spend some time with the samples we’ve provided to help make that decision. Keep in mind any special order colors or deck board sizes might take up to 6-8 weeks to arrive.
6. build plans
Our team will draw your construction plans and submit these to you for your approval. Once approved by you, we will submit the plans for necessary building and/or zoning permits. This process takes 2-6 weeks depending on the current work load of the municipality.

7. project underway
Once the project is underway, we’ll start by demoing any existing structures as needed and dig/install footings. Footing inspection is usually the day we dig or day after. Depending on footing types and weather permitting, we start building within a week.
8. project completion
Project duration is usually 2-3 weeks from demo. Once construction is complete, we will do a final walkthrough with you and have framing/final inspection. Finally, you get to kick back and enjoy your beautiful new space! If you’re happy with our services, a Google review really helps us build trust and be discovered by future clients.
